Here’s what to look out for and how to treat it:
Insects
- Problem: Aphids, red spider mite, thrips, rust, black spot or powdery mildew?

Solution: Our ready-to-use Efekto Insecticide Granules Plus offers long-term control of up to 8 weeks. It’s a systemic insecticide that is scattered at the roots and when absorbed, makes the plant’s sap toxic to these little pests. - Problem: Aphids or scale?
Solution: Use our systemic concentrate insecticide, Efekto Plant Protector. Apply to the roots and allow the plant to absorb. - Problem: In need of more generalised pest control for roses?
Solution: Try Efekto Malasol or Efekto Cypermethrin 200EC - Problem: Chafer beetles bugging your roses?

Diseases
- Problem: Powdery mildew, black spot or rust?
- Solution: Efekto Funginex helps to control all of the above. It’s a concentrated systemic fungicide that needs to be applied every 7-10 days, or when necessary.
- Problem: Black spot?
Solution: Treat with Efekto Funginex, Efekto Virikop or Efekto Kumulus WG. - Problem: Powdery mildew

Solution: Use Efekto Virikop.
