A systemic suspension concentrate insecticide for use in the garden to control ants, harvester termites and mole crickets in lawns, thrips and other sucking insects, on conifers, roses and other ornamentals.

Ants – Lawns in the garden 5 ml product – 500 ml water at 1 nest entrance; or

  • Pour 500 ml of the mixture directly into or around each nest entrance
  • Treat all nest entrances being actively used by ants
  • Use outdoors only
Harvester termites – Lawns in the garden (cutting and carrying dry grass into their nests) 5 ml product – 500 ml water for 1 nest entrance; or

50 ml product – 5 l water for 10 nest entrances

  • Nest entrance treatment
  • Treatment should take place in autumn (April – May) when termites are active
  • Treat all nest entrances being used by the termites, (nest entrance treatment) or the entire area being foraged (overall treatment)
  • Repeat treatment if termite activity resumes
Mole crickets (Gryllotalpa sp.) 20 ml product – 600 ml for 25 m² of lawn surface; or
85 ml product – 2,5 l water for 100 m² of lawn surface; or
330 ml product – 10 l water for 400 m² of lawn surface
  • Apply as a full cover spray when the presence of mole crickets is first noticed
  • Irrigate within 24 hours of application

  • A preventive treatment in late October, repeated two months later, will give the best results
  • Important: Mole crickets longer than 15 mm will not be controlled effectively
Conifers – Italian cypress aphid (Cinara cupressivora) 20 ml product – 1 l water for trees less than 2 m tall; or
40 ml product – 2 l water for trees between 2 and 2,5 m tall; or
80 ml product – 4 l water for trees between 2,5 and 3 m tall; or
150 ml product – 8 l water for trees taller than 3 m.
  • Preventive or corrective treatments can be applied
  • Prevention: Start treatment during April to May to prevent aphid attacks. Apply as a drench around the stem base of each tree. Repeat after approximately two months.
  • Corrective: Apply as a soil drench around the stem base of each tree when first signs of infestation are noticed. Repeat after approximately two months.
  • Yearly preventive treatments are recommended to avoid die-back of trees due to aphid infestations.
Roses – Aphids 20 ml product – 1 l water for 1 rose bush
  • Apply as a soil drench around the stems of the rose bushes when first signs of aphids are notice
  • Repeat application after approximately two months

Precautions

  • Avoid inhalation of spray mist and fumes
  • Wear protective clothing and wash this after every use
  • Wash with soap and water after use or accidental skin contact
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst handling or applying the insecticide or before work clothes have been removed and hands and face washed
  • Clean spray applicators immediately after use and dispose of rinse water where it cannot contaminate crops, grazing, rivers or dams
  • Prevent contamination of food, feed, eating utensils and drinking water
  • Destroy empty container and do not use for any other purpose
