Usage Instructions
Name of Pests: (Crop) Product Measurements: Usage Description: Astylus Beetle 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray to infested plants
- Repeat when necessary
Army Worm 12,5 ml product – 10 l water; or 25 ml product – 10 l water for short-horn grasshoppers and crickets
- Apply when necessary
- Apply as a full cover spray when pest is troublesome
Ants 40 ml product – 1 l of water for spot treatment - Spray infested soil thoroughly
- Also treat holes
Fruit and Pumpkin Flies (Apples, Pears, Apricots, Peaches, Guavas, Granadillas, Citrus and Cucurbits)
17,5 ml product – 10 l water – 800 g sugar/20 ml protein hydrolysate for bait treatment - Apply as a coarse droplet spray at weekly intervals to leaf surfaces using 250 – 1000 ml bait per tree, when fruit is susceptible to attack
- Apply to cucurbits when flowering commences. Repeat at weekly intervals
- Apply in winter to evergreen trees on warm sunny days to reduce overwintering population. Repeat all treatments after rain
Apples and Pears (Mealy Bugs, Bryobia Mite, Aphids and Woolly Aphids) 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest appears and repeat when necessary
Avocados (Thrips and Soft Brown Scale) 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed
Flowers and ornamentals (Aphids, Australian Bug and Mealy Bug) 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed
Thrips 17,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed and repeat when necessary
- Apply thoroughly at weekly intervals when pest or damage is noticed
CMR-beetles, Soft Brown and Red Scale 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed
Beans (Thrips and CMR-beetles) 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed
- Repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals against thrips
Aphids 12,5 ml product – 10 l water. - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed and repeat when necessary
Lawn (Caterpillars) 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when damage is noticed.
Granadillas (Thrips) 17,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is troublesome
Purple, Red, White and Soft Brown Scale as well as Mealy Bug 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when necessary
Clover and lucerne – Earth Fleas 3 ml product – 10 l water - Start application when pest is noticed, usually after the first late autumn or early spring rain
- Apply twice at 3 week intervals
Cabbage – Diamond-back Moth larvae 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
- Repeat at weekly intervals
Guavas – Scale 25 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
Mealy Bugs 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
Papaya – Aphids 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
Peaches – Bryobia Mite and Aphids 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
Bananas – Thrips and Aphids 17,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
Plums & Pears – Mealy Bugs 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray as soon as pest is noticed
- Repeat 2 – 3 times at 2 – 3 week intervals
Mushrooms – Fungus gnats 15 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray
- Repeat after picking
Citrus – Thrips 17,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply at 80 – 100 % petal drop, as a light full cover spray at ± 10 l per full grown tree
Australian and Mealy Bug 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed – If possible on spot spray basis.
Red, Mussel and Circular Purple Scale as well as Soft Brown Scale 30 ml product – 10 l water - Preventative treatment (Red, Mussel and Circular Purple Scale): Apply at 80 – 100 % petal drop. Spray mature trees once and if necessary, in the case of young trees, apply a second application 6 – 8 weeks later. Against Soft Brown Scale apply correctively on a spot spray basis.
Tomatoes – Aphids 12,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed and repeat when necessary
Onions – Thrips 17,5 ml product – 10 l water - Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed
- Repeat at 7 – 10 day intervals
- Not for use on spring onions
Name of Pest: (Public health, Household and Poultry) Product Measurements: Usage Description: Houses, Compounds and other Premises (Cockroaches, Mosquitoes, Bedbugs, Flies, Fish Moths, Fleas, Carpet Beetles and Ants) 100 ml product – 1 l water for spot application; or 30 ml product – 1 l water for general application
- Apply as a coarse droplet spray or paint on the surfaces where insects occur
Hides and Skins – Beetles and Larvae 20 ml product – 1 l water – 10 l of power paraffin - Apply as a coarse spray at the rate of ± 50 l solution per 600 m²
- Pay special attention to the flesh side of hides
Poultry – Red Mites, Fleas and Lice 20 ml product – 1 l of water - Remove and preferably burn all litter and nest material before all surfaces in the poultry house are sprayed thoroughly
- Remove all feed from the troughs before application and then spray them on the inside and outside
- Poultry may also be sprayed
- Repeat treatment after one month.

Precautions
- Wear protective clothing whilst mixing and applying (rubber gloves, boots and a face shield)
- Do not inhale spray mist
- Wash with soap and water after accidental skin contact
- Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst mixing or applying or before washing hands and face
- Prevent drift of spray onto other crops or areas not under treatment
- Prevent contamination of food, feed, eating utensils and water
- Destroy empty container and do not use for any other purpose
